If you’re stuck for an idea for a special occasion or birthday party, why not try something different, adventurous and fun! You can treat your children, family and friends to a Discover Scuba Party.
Our fantastic pool parties are very popular and you’re bound to score top points for being different! Your private party can be held in our pool facilities in Bishops Stortford in Hertfordshire. Alternatively, we can come to a pool or facility closer to you!
Our parties last around two hours, where each participant will learn the basics of scuba diving and have the option to complete the PADI Discover Scuba course. Naturally, there is also time to play some fun and exciting underwater games, like underwater frisbee too!
We can offer this experience to anyone who is age 8 and over. We will provide private tuition by our top instructors to ensure you get the best experience possible. We’ll also supply you with all the equipment needed, all you need to do is pack your swimsuit and a towel!
Here at Planet Scuba we are a Youth Approved training centre, so you know your with the best!
Our parties are for a maximum of 6 people, costing from £250.00. Booking and full payment is required at least two weeks in advance.
Schools
Planet Scuba is a trusted provider of scuba diving training to leading independent schools across the South East. Scuba diving training can take place at our centres or on school premises. All Planet Scuba staff that work with children have an enhanced CRB clearance.
We are also the only Local PADI Approved Youth Training Centre.

Scuba diving is an exciting activity that can introduce students to a simply breath-taking world, providing them with a license for adventure and discovery! Scuba diving is valuable within the educational system, facilitating students with the means needed to socialise and develop friendships, as well as teaching them to be responsible.
Through scuba diving, students are required to reflect on what is going on around them constantly, both physically and emotionally. Planet Scuba feel this process enables students to transfer this process to other areas of their lives.
